Our drum lid art is created from 100% reclaimed 55 gallon drum lids.
Each lid is designed by Kotah, sometimes with inspiration from Suzy, then hand cut and burnished for desired effect. They are 23 inches in diameter and usually weigh about 3 or 4 pounds. The color they are is the color the drum lid was when it came to us. We never paint them. We also don't coat them because some people like the rust. It is easier to instruct a patron how to care for their piece than to try to remove clear coat enamel!
