This is a tribute to our S.O.S. (Saved our Skins) Every art show
is a gamble. Booth fees are increasing every year. Juries are becoming more and more picky. We travel near and far not only
trying to bring art to the general populace but also to enhance our own livelihoods. Sometimes it's the small stuff that
saves a show. The silver-looking ones toward the bottom of the page are hand designed and hand cut from galvanized metal.
They are recycled from duct work removed from a church here in Evansville. The black ones are recycled 5 gallon paint lids,
also hand designed and hand cut by Kotah. The garden stakes are made out of whatever pieces Kotah has lying around the floor
of the garage - most often leftovers from the drum lid art. And the iridescent pieces are stainless steel that's been
heated up to get the color variations. So, even though they are small and reasonably priced ($25 - $70), they are all still
given the individual attention and energy of Kotah Moon. Garden stakes are only available at art fairs.
